Warning Description: Special Weather Statement

Warning Date: 2:42 am EST on January 29, 2012

WarningSum:...Increased Fire Danger This Afternoon Across Much Of Western
North Carolina...

Warning Message:A very dry air mass will remain in place today. With
temperatures rising a few degrees above average...relative
humidity values will fall below 25 percent for most of the
afternoon. Gusty winds are expected to develop as well. Even with
the recent rain...fuel moisture values have fallen and the
combination of all these factors will lead to increased fire
danger through the afternoon.
Please refer to your local burn permit authorities. If you do
burn...use extreme caution since fires can quickly get out of hand
under these conditions.
